Hillary Schneider, Founder & CEO

Ever since I was a little girl I had a dream of owning a retreat center on a beautiful piece of land. In December of 2015 that dream became a reality.

My desire and intention for having a space where people can get away, is to immerse them in the deep power of nature and the expansiveness that is found there, thus reconnecting them to the nature within themselves. There is something profound that happens when we allow ourselves to step away from the busyness of life, and the ranch for me is a place where I can give others that opportunity to retreat - so they can be exposed to the brilliance and wisdom that comes from those places of stillness. I believe the magic of the world is found when we can fully immerse ourselves in an experience with nature, an experience this ranch holds in spades.

I have been passionate in the pursuit of my goals and dreams since I was younger, knowing from an early age that I was destined to hold space for something unique in the world. The horses have been the carriers of this path for me and it's been an incredible ride to hold space for, and watch, how my greatest dreams have now become a reality.

Everyday I take a walk on this land I now call home, connecting with myself and nature, and am reminded of the power that comes from this kind of experience. With the horses as my guide, I am excited for the opportunity to expand these experiences with others. I look forward to the deepening that will come for others as they explore and enjoy the beautiful land that I am certain will be home for many connections, discoveries, and brilliance that is seeking to make its way out into the world.

My background:

My passion for horses lead me to a diploma in equine science majoring in production and breeding where I then spent a few years working with racehorses in the breeding barns. This experience eventually lead me to pursue a more fulfilling and meaningful path where I could have a positive impact on the lives of others. In 2005, I trained with the Coach Training Institute to become a coach which is when I discovered the partnership between coaching and my lifelong passion of horses. Since 2009, I have been facilitating in the space of the horse which I find to be a completely transformative experience unlike anything else. In 2012, I ran my first retreat facility on a beautiful 17.5 acre property in Ladner, British Columbia which has now brought me to move to our current ranch that we call home since December 2015.
